Chris is a Dolgeville resident who is deeply involved with her community. She achieved her BS in Elementary Education from Robert Wesleyan College, her MS in Secondary English Education from SUNY Oneonta, her CAS in Education Administration from SUNY Cortland, and completed her Superintendent's Development Program at SUNY Oswego. Chris began her decades-long career in education within the Little Falls City School District. Throughout her professional journey, she rose to become Superintendent for Dolgeville Central School where she served in that capacity for 8 years before retiring. Chris was a founding member of both Dolgeville Forward, Inc. and Dolgeville Fun and Fitness Area (DFAFA), and remains active in both organizations. She also is a Market Manager for the Dolgeville Farmers' Market, Vice President for Herkimer County HealthNet, and Board Member for the Little Falls Hospital (Bassett Network).
Chris has long been interested in ensuring that people have the goods and services that they need, not only to survive, but thrive. She has fiercely advocated for those marginalized in our communities and continues to do so in retirement.
